With the current security and video compression in place, you might experience quirky response at times while viewing the videos on your devices. Please know that we are continuing to work on this and very soon many of these issues will be taken care of. To make it easier for you to understand the areas where the experience could be different, the following FAQ has been put in place.

Q. Which devices are compatible to play videos?
A. Currently, the video content are compatible with Android and iOS based devices which includes mobiles, iPads and Android tablets.
Q. WHICH BROWSERS SHOULD I USE TO VIEW THE SITE?
A. Windows based desktops – Internet Explorer 9, Chrome Latest and Firefox Latest; Mac – Safari Latest; Android device – Internet browser; iOS based devices – Safari.
Q. I WANT TO USE Internet Explorer BUT HAVE A PREVIOUS VERSION INSTALLED. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
A. Please go to the link http://www.microsoft.com/india/windows/ie/IE9.aspx and you can download the latest version there for free. For browsers viz., Firefox and Chrome, please check the links http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ and https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/.
Q. I am using a Windows Phone. Will the videos work?
A. The video content have not been tested for compatibility on Windows based devices. Mostly it should work however you may face certain issues.
Q. I am unable to pinch and zoom on devices. Is there a way I can do that?
A. Pinch/Maximize gestures are currently not supported in mobile and tablet devices.
Q. At times, the close (X) does not work on the video window. What should I do?
A. Please refresh the page.
Q. Can I play the videos in normal as well as full screen modes?
A. Yes you can, however we recommend that all videos are played in the full screen mode on your devices.
Q. On my tablet, while viewing in portrait orientation, the page does not show up properly. How can I set this?
A. On tablets, site needs to be viewed in landscape orientation.
Q. On my mobile, I do not see the site in the Fit-To-Screen mode. How can I set this?
A. On mobiles, the site will not fit to screen and will be scrollable. You need to use the swipe function to navigate content throughout the page. The videos need to be played in the maximize mode.
Q. On my iOS device, the loading/buffering image pops up everytime I am at the end of the video. Is there anything that I need to configure on my device?
A. This is currently the default behavior of the video player. We are looking into it and this might get resolved soon.
Q. Whenever I use the seek bar on the timeline, it seems the device is not responding and after some time, the video starts to play. Do I need to check on something?
A. The loader or the buffering image at times might not show up on your device while playing the videos. Do not worry; your video will be played eventually. If there is a long wait and nothing happens, you might have to refresh the page.
Q. The seek/progress bar when moved up and down the timeline frequently on my Android device, has resulted in my browser to stop responding. What do I do?
A. The seek bar when dragged up and down the timeline too often while viewing videos, may at times stop responding on Android devices. If such thing happens, please refresh the page.
Q. Is there anything else that I need to take care of while viewing videos on devices?
A. Nothing much… just enjoy the videos and Happy Learning!
